Beetlejuice musical to debut in S'pore in Jan. 2026

"Beetlejuice The Musical" will make its debut in Singapore theatres in January 2026.
Straight from Broadway, the production will be staged at the Esplanade Theatre.
Tony Award nominee Andy Karl will star as the titular Beetlejuice.
Tickets will go on sale from Jul. 3, 2025.
Pre-sale access will also be available via a waitlist on Ticketek Singapore, which will open till Jun. 28, 11:59pm.

The musical opened on Broadway in 2019, starring Alex Brightman as Beetlejuice and Sophia Anne Caruso as Lydia Deetz.
It was nominated for the Tony Award eight times and went viral on TikTok.
Loosely based on 1988 film "Beetlejuice", the production went on a U.S. national tour in 2022.
It later began its international tour beginning in Melbourne, Australia, in May 2025. The next stop is Abu Dhabi in November 2025.
In 2024, a sequel to the 1988 film — "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" — opened in cinemas, starring Jenna Ortega from Netflix series "Wednesday".
