A man in Yishun was stabbed in the abdomen and sent to the hospital on Jun. 13.
Responding to queries from Mothership, the Singapore Police Force said they received a call for assistance at Block 467B Yishun Avenue 6 on Jun. 13 at around 7:50 pm.
A 29-year-old man was conveyed conscious to the hospital.
A 31-year-old man was subsequently arrested for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon. Police investigations are ongoing.
A witness, who spoke to Shin Min Daily News, said the injured man was her neighbour and he was with his two young children when the incident occurred.
The witness added that after the man was stabbed, he brought the children home while bleeding. The children then rang her doorbell and told the neighbour their father was injured.
The neighbour rushed out of the house and saw that the injured man was covered in blood. She then pressed on the man's wound to stop the bleeding while others called for an ambulance, Shin Min Daily News reported.
The witness also noted that the man did not say anything and was in pain and sweating.
