Named The Hainan Story Chapter 2, the outlet can seat 100 customers. It boasts black and white décor alongside rattan furniture and wooden walls -- a nod to the history of Hainanese immigrants in colonial-era Singapore, many of whom used to work as chefs for the British.

This third outlet retains signature brands that are popular among customers: Newspaper Curry Rice, Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice and Uncle Robert Western & BBQ.

Customers can look forward to perennial favourites like Uncle Robert Western & BBQ as well as Newspaper Curry Rice.

Aside from that, you can look forward to new offerings, such as:

  • 218 Hainanese Lor Mee (inspired by the famous 218 Hainan Lor Mee in Penang),
  • Ah Mai Kum Hainanese Chicken Rice Porridge, which uses a traditional Hainanese rice porridge recipe,
  • Pot pies in three flavours: Hainanese Signature Curry Chicken, Old English Oxtail Stew, and Cheesy Chicken.
