Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple at Waterloo Street reopening on July 27, 2020

Ticketed admission for the weekend of Aug. 7 to Aug. 9.

Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple on Waterloo Street has put up a notice announcing its reopening on July 27, 2020.

This comes after their temporary closure from March 27 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Opening dates

The temple will be open on the following dates:

  • July 27 - July 30  (Monday - Thursday)
  • August 3 - August 6 (Monday - Thursday)

Note that the temple will remain closed from July 31 to August 2 (Friday - Sunday).

Ticket-only admission

From August 7 to August 9 (Friday - Sunday), tickets will be issued to visitors so as to facilitate crowd control and safe distancing.

Visitors will have to send an email to the appropriate email address to choose the day and time they will visit the temple.

The email should include the visitor's name as shown in their NRIC.

Each email should only have one visitor's name.

More information on admissions from August 10 onwards will be published on the temple's notice board, according to the notice.
