As part of the Multi-Ministry Task Force's announcement that Phase Two will start after June 18, 11:59pm, sports, parks and other public facilities will also open.
List of public facilities to be opened
These facilities include playgrounds, beaches, lawns and fields, stadia, swimming complexes, sports halls, hard courts, gyms, fitness studios, bowling centres and function rooms.
The measure applies also to similar facilities in private settings such as condominiums and clubs.
Capacity to be capped
However, caps on capacity at these places will be imposed to minimise interactions and reduce the risk of community transmissions.
Safe distancing rules are to be maintained, with people keeping one metre apart.
Also, only groups of five people may meet socially.
Singapore reopening in 3 phases
Previously, Sport Singapore announced on May 24 that sports, recreation and outdoor facilities are to remain closed during Phase 1 of the post-circuit breaker period from June 2.
All public and private sports facilities have been closed since April 7.
Singapore is now gradually restarting its economy over three phases.
