This came after she was unable to pay NT$5,000 (S$203) in compensation to one of the classmates for accidentally damaging the latter's clothes.
Assault
The bullying incident occurred on Aug. 29, 2023.
The victim had allegedly borrowed a pair of overalls from a female classmate that were worth around NT$500 (S$20), reported TNCNews.
After accidentally damaging the overalls, the victim was asked to pay 10 times the price of the overalls in compensation.
When she was unable to do so, several female classmates conspired to enact revenge.
More than 12 girls lured the victim to a tourist attraction at Nanliao Fishing Port, where they ambushed her, and beat her up with baseball bats and burned her with cigarettes, reported Yahoo.
