Singaporean actor Ng Chin Han recalled a memorable on-set moment with the late Heath Ledger during the filming of "The Dark Knight (2008)", saying he was left "dazed for a second" after being struck in the head.
Ng made the remarks on The Brandon Davis Show on May 10, an entertainment and pop culture podcast hosted by veteran genre journalist Brandon Davis, where he was also commemorating the release of "Mortal Kombat 2", in which he reprises his role as Shang Tsung.
Ledger hit him "square in the head"
Speaking about "The Dark Knight", Ng recalled that in one of the scenes, Ledger had jumped off a large pile of money, "like two stories high or something", and slid down in a single take.
After landing, Ledger grabbed a stack of bills and hurled it at Ng, hitting him "square in the head".
"It goes like 'boom' and then I was dazed for a second," he laughed.
The actor also remembered Ledger fondly: "Heath Ledger was great... He's one of those classic, genius film actors."
