Missed vital areas
A doctor who attended to the bizarre case reportedly described the man's survival as "miraculous".
The blade had penetrated the man's skull and reached 3cm inside his head, but avoided damaging critical parts of his brain, which left his speech and motor functions intact.
The man has since undergone surgery and is out of danger.
The victim's family reportedly criticised the hospital for the long waiting time before treatment.
Police said the three suspects have been arrested.
