Man filmed allegedly taking cash cards from motorcycle OBUs in Bukit Batok carpark

A man was caught on camera allegedly stealing cash cards from motorcycle On-Board Units (OBU) at a carpark.

According to a Mothership reader and based on a video she shared, the incident occurred at a car park at Bukit Batok East Avenue 5, near Block 245, on May 6 at around 7:30am.

In the video, a man can be seen approaching a few parked motorcycles.

He was wearing a white top, black-and-white sweatpants and appeared to sport a head of white hair.

At the first motorcycle, he reached towards the motorcycle's dashboard, near where an OBU would be.

He then skirted around to a second motorcycle and did the same.

This time, he appeared to have removed an object.

He then went on to a third motorcycle before leaving the vicinity in haste.

A police report has been made, according to the reader.

She also said that this was the first time she had seen the man in the area.

Responding to Mothership's queries, a Singapore Police Force spokesperson confirmed that a report was lodged and said that the police are looking into the matter.
