A scooter rider in China struck a woman who was on the pedestrian path.
The woman is visually impaired and had been using a walking stick.
According to a video of the accident, the woman was walking along the pathway when the scooter rushed towards her. She was walking on tactile paving.
After hitting the woman, the male rider stopped, turned around and berated her, asking if she was looking at where she was walking.
