Man, 56, dies after car crashes into tree in Clementi

A 56-year-old man died after crashing his car into a tree in Clementi on May 10.
The police confirmed with Mothership that they were alerted to an accident involving two cars along Clementi Avenue 2, towards West Coast Road, at about 6:10pm that day.
One driver was conveyed unconscious to the National University Hospital before he later passed away, they added.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Aftermath
Photos circulating online showed a black sedan wrapped around a tree at a lane divider.
Paramedics were seen attending to the injured on-site.
