Chinese spa House+ Bubble, which is in its soft-launch phase, has announced that it is temporarily closing its bathing pools from Mar. 3, 2026, as part of "internal facility adjustments".

In an Instagram post on Mar. 2, the Chinese wellness operator that runs the S$45 million new venue, said it had conducted a "comprehensive review" of its facilities and is in the midst of further refining "spatial details and operational arrangements".

Both male and female bathing pool areas will be temporarily closed, with the reopening to be announced at a later date.

House+ Bubble is reportedly Singapore's largest 24-hour spa and is located in Perennial Business City in Jurong East.

Spa, massage services & dining areas to remain open

According to the post, the facility's spa, massage services and dining areas will remain open.

The wellness operator noted that massage services will close at 10:30pm.

In light of the closure, prices for the trial operating fee have been "revised to S$39 for three hours", which covers all the public areas except the bathing pools, it was announced.

The original entry ticket price for the soft opening started from S$49.

The wellness operator said tickets will still include unlimited fruits, drinks and ice cream, while the self-service cold dish buffet will continue to be priced separately.

House+ Bubble added: "We look forward to welcoming you back in a fully refined experience."

S$45 million project

The approximately S$45 million project was being rolled out as part of a soft launch in two phases.

The soft launch and opening preview phase began on Feb. 21, while the first phase is slated to be completed on Mar. 14, covering a space that is around 49,000 sq ft.

The second phase, which adds about 50,000 sq ft, is targeted for completion at the end of the year, subject to regulatory approvals.

Reviews

So far, its Google Maps listing has been flooded with one-star reviews from visitors.

Spa attendees alleged hygiene issues, disappointing service and a lack of controlled phone usage in the wet areas.

A reviewer noted piping issues during their Feb. 27 visit and that one of three steam baths was not working.

House+ Bubble's management responded to many of the reviews and stated that they have taken note of the issues and are actively addressing them.
