A Chinese wellness operator has soft-launched a new spa and leisure complex in Perennial Business City in Jurong East.
According to The Business Times, the complex will be the size of 7.5 Olympic-sized swimming pools when completed. The operator says this will be the largest spa of its kind in Singapore.
The approximately S$45 million project will be rolled out in two phases.
The first phase, covering a space that is approximately 49,000 square feet (sq ft), will be officially launched on Mar. 14.
While the second phase looks to add about 50,000 sq ft, and is targeted for completion at the end of the year, subject to regulatory approvals.
Here are some of the facilities shown on their website, including hot spring pools, steam rooms, and massage services.
The women's area features a salt therapy room with Himalayan crystal salt, while the men's area has a mugwort herbal room.
Currently, only "core spaces" are available during the soft-opening. Selected zones will be progressively opened up to the public.
There will apparently even be a cinema and esports room.

According to BT, the operator plans to open at least four outlets in Singapore, each at least 50,000 sq ft in size.
The branches will have their own themes.
