From Mar. 23, 2026, the ERP rate at four locations along the AYE, CTE and KPE will go up by S$1 at various times throughout the day.

In a Mar. 12 news release, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) explained that the increase is to help manage congestion at these locations, which have seen a buildup of traffic in January 2026.

Here are the changes.

The rate change will only apply to the specified time slots. Rates for other times slots at previously announced gantries remain unchanged, LTA clarified.

A location may comprise multiple gantries, and a motorist would only need to pay at one gantry.

LTA said it will continue to monitor traffic speeds closely and review if ERP rates need to be further adjusted.

In particular, LTA said it is closely monitoring traffic conditions at the Orchard area as speeds have "persistently been lower than optimal."

The area was previously subjected to ERP charges and has been unpriced since the circuit breaker in April 2020, LTA explained.
