Chinese influencer, 39, gets headache during livestream, dies 10 minutes later

While on a livestream, a 39-year-old influencer from China started complaining of a headache and said that she felt unwell.

About 10 minutes later, she passed away.

The influencer, known online as Sister Wang, was reportedly a single mother to a five-year-old daughter and worked long hours to make ends meet.

'I'm going to collapse soon'

According to media reports, Wang promotes make-up products on her livestream and has a regular fan base.

During one of her livestreams, she started feeling unwell.

Clips circulating on the Chinese social media platform Weibo showed Wang pausing in the middle of the livestream as she started grimacing in pain.

She could also be seen holding the back of her neck and clenching her chest.

Wang eventually told the staff present to call the ambulance, saying that she was going to collapse soon.

10 minutes after the symptoms started showing, Wang reportedly passed.

Condition deteriorated quickly

Her condition deteriorated so quickly that, by the time emergency responders arrived, she had already lost signs of life.

Fans and online users grieved Wang's sudden passing, with many expressing their sympathy for her five-year-old daughter.

The cause of death has not been officially determined.
