Woman, 74, dies after Ang Mo Kio car accident, man, 33, arrested for careless driving causing death

A 74-year-old female pedestrian passed away after an accident with a car along Ang Mo Kio Street 31 towards Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6.

The police said they were alerted to the accident on Mar. 28 at about 7:05pm.

The 74-year-old female pedestrian was conveyed unconscious to the hospital, where she subsequently passed away.

A 33-year-old man was arrested for careless driving causing death.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Photos of the accident circulating online showed the woman lying on the ground with a couple of passers-by nearby.
