Bus seen travelling with cracked windows, SBS apologises for 'distress & inconvenience'
Cracked.
A TikTok video posted on Mar. 27 showed an SBS Transit bus travelling down a road with visibly cracked side windows.
The bus was apparently from service 57, according to the caption.
Cracked windows
Footage showed several of the bus's side windows covered in cracks, with large pieces of glass missing from the frame.
Some passengers appeared uneasy when they noticed the shattered glass, and one commuter could be seen edging away from the window.
A still image shown at the end of the video also revealed the extent of the damage from outside the bus, with one side window visibly shattered.

Passengers transferred
Responding to queries, Grace Wu, a spokesperson for SBS Transit, said passengers onboard were moved to another bus so they could continue their journeys.
She said:
“No one was taken to the hospital. We apologise to affected passengers for the distress and inconvenience caused.”
The operator did not state what caused the windows to crack.
