SG Culture Pass credits can now be used to buy Sing Lit books

Fret not, Singaporeans can now use their SG Culture Pass credits worth S$100 to purchase local literary works from participating bookstores across the island.
This could be your chance to check out independent bookstores and pick out your new favourite spot to hang out at with a good book.
Here are some options for you to check out.
Bookstores with SG Culture Pass-eligible titles
Keen on a cup of coffee and tea while browsing some books? There's Book Bar, which focuses on Singaporean and Asian Literature.
There is also City Book Room, which is dedicated to publishing local novels, poetry, and prose in both Mandarin and English.
Local titles are also available at Kinokuniya, with its three outlets at Bugis Junction, Raffles City and Takashimaya.

If you are looking for Chinese language books, Lingzi Warehouse Books Sale offers a curated selection of works by renowned Singapore Chinese language authors with titles that span literature, the humanities, and locally-focused themes.
Local works can also be found at Wardah Books, which carries books on Islam in the English language, Quranic studies, regional history, fiction and children's books.
If you are looking for picture and illustrated books, Woods in the Books is the place for you.
There’s also Popular, which carries a variety of titles including Culture Pass-eligible children’s books and fiction novels at all of its outlets, making it perfect for readers of all ages.
From fiction and poetry to plays and literary short essays, you can check out a total of more than 1,500 titles offered by nine participating bookstores across 40 outlets islandwide.
How to use your SG Culture Pass for books
To find out where you can make your purchase, you can visit the SG Culture Pass website to check the list of participating bookstores.

Click on "view participating bookstores" for more details. You may also enable access to your location to check for participating outlets near you.

Afterwards, you can head down to the nearest bookstore and look out for the SG Culture Pass label on eligible books.

I personally located POPULAR at NEX as the bookstore nearest to my house, which made the experience of browsing for books a lot more convenient.
When making payment for your choice of books, all you have to do is log in to your SG Culture Pass account on the SG Culture Pass website, click your profile button, then tap “Pay in store”.
Next, enter the amount to pay to generate a QR code, after which the cashier will then scan the QR code to complete payment.

If you do not have sufficient credits to cover the full amount, do not fret. You may pay the remaining balance using accepted payment methods at the bookstore.
