WP chief Pritam Singh no longer seated across PM in Parliament after removal as LO
Still in the front bench.
Following his removal as the Leader of the Opposition (LO), Workers' Party chief Pritam Singh's seat in Parliament has been moved.
While he was previously seated in the front bench directly opposite the Prime Minister, he has been shifted down the row and is now seated across from Minister for Health Ong Ye Kung.
With the shift, Holland-Bukit Timah GRC Member of Parliament (MP) Christopher de Souza is now directly across from the Prime Minister.
He is flanked by Jurong Central SMC MP Xie Yao Quan and Vikram Nair from Sembawang GRC.
Both Xie and de Souza are Deputy Speakers of Parliament.
Vikram chairs the Government Parliamentary Committee (GPC) for Home Affairs and Law.
The new seating plan was posted to the Parliament website and was updated on Feb. 3, ahead of the day's sitting.

Pritam was removed as an LO by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on Jan. 15, after a Parliamentary motion expressing regret over Pritam's court conviction for lying to the Committee of Privileges was passed.
PM Wong invited the WP to appoint another LO, but the WP said it will not be doing so.
