LumiHealth is shutting down on May 31, 2026, after six years.

The personalised health programme was designed by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) in collaboration with Apple and launched in October 2020, a HPB media release said.

To date, some 377,000 Singaporeans have used the programme.

LumiHealth users have until Mar. 31, 2026, to earn coins, and all coins must be redeemed and converted to eVouchers by Apr. 30, 2026.

All eVouchers must be spent before they expire or by May 31, 2026.

Lumihealth's website encourages users to continue their journey with Healthy 365.

A "$10 Welcome Reward in Healthpoints" is provided for those who sign up by Mar. 31 2026.

LumiHealth's impact

LumiHealth leveraged on iPhone and Apple Watch capabilities, such as heart rate, activity and sleep tracking to progressively build up their physical activity levels and improve mental wellness and sleep hygiene.

"Users with low activity levels before joining the programme increased their weekly exercise minutes by about 54 per cent. The increase for those with a higher body mass index (BMI) of 23 and above was 26 per cent," the media release stated.

It engaged users through structured personalised quests to cultivate sustained healthy habits, with recent data demonstrating that 42.8 per cent of users participated in nutrition-focused quests, 54.2 per cent of users participated in sleep-focused quests, and 42.6 per cent of users participated in mental well-being quests.

HPB also collaborated with Swiss Re to analyse the aggregated and anonymised data to understand LumiHealth's effectiveness, including the possible impacts of the programme on mortality.

An estimated mortality reduction of between three and 13 per cent was recorded, with the greatest impact seen in at-risk populations who were sedentary pre-programme and older participants.

Since May 2024, LumiHealth also engaged users — over 6,300 participants — with chronic conditions, such as its hypertension and diabetes clinical quests.

Phased conclusion & continued support with Healthy 365 app

The Healthy 365 app is a free mobile app that employs a gamified approach to health and wellness.
