For the first time in over 40 years, HDB will launch three new build-to-order (BTO) projects at Lakeview and Shunfu from June 2026.
Once completed, these projects will deliver about 1,600 new homes, along with additional amenities and facilities, including an eating house, minimart, clinic, bakery, hair salon, childcare centre, and Residents' Network centre.
The first project at Lakeview with 1,200 units will be launched during the June 2026 BTO exercise.

The construction of the project, bound by Upper Thomson Road and the existing Lakeview Estate condominium, will be carried out progressively from the second quarter of 2026.
It will comprise approximately 470 units of 2-room Flexi flats and around 740 units of 4-room flats. It will also include about 50 units of public rental flats across two blocks.
The other two projects, one in Lakeview and one in Shunfu, will be launched within the next two years.

Both projects will offer approximately 130 3-room flats and 290 4-room flats.
As these projects will be located near Toa Payoh, Bishan, and Ang Mo Kio, Minister for National Development Chee Hong Tat noted that this would help keep the more mature towns inclusive and vibrant for residents of all ages.
"We want to support family members to live closer to one another, for mutual care and support," he added.
