Taxi driver, 70 & passenger, 31, taken to hospital after ComfortDelGro cab turns turtle in accident with car driver, 68
A 68-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations, stated the police.
A taxi driver and his passenger were brought to a hospital after an accident on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) resulted in the taxi turning turtle on Jan. 8.
In a TikTok video posted on Jan. 8, the yellow ComfortDelGro taxi could be seen lying on its roof on the PIE's rightmost lane.

The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) stated that they were alerted to the accident at about 7:15am.
The SCDF stated that the accident occurred along the PIE towards Tuas, after the Jurong Town Hall exit.
The accident involved a car and a taxi with a 68-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations, stated the police.
The 70-year-old male taxi driver, and a 31-year-old male passenger of the overturned cab were conveyed conscious by the SCDF to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
A ComfortDelGro spokesperson told The Straits Times that they were aware of the accident and that both driver and passenger were taken to hospital.
“We are monitoring the situation closely and providing all assistance as needed.”
