Botanic Gardens restaurant The Halia to close in mid-March 2026 after 25 years
The restaurant made the announcement via a January 2026 Instagram post.
The Halia, located at Singapore Botanic Gardens, will be closing in mid-March 2026, the restaurant announced via a Jan. 8 Instagram post.
The closure comes after 25 years of operations, the post read, adding that the establishment is grateful "for the memories, celebrations and love shared in this beautiful space".
No reason was provided for the cessation of operations.
Unique blend of cuisine
The restaurant has been focused on bringing European and Asian cuisine to its guests since 2001, according to its website.
The restaurant's name means "ginger" in Malay, which reflects the vibrant and exotic flavours they offer.
Last visit
In light of its impending closure, The Halia invited customers "for one last visit" to create a "final memory" with them before the closure.
"We hope to create new memories with you in the near future," the post read.
