M'sian man, 49, allegedly rapes daughter, 18, over 12 years & gets her pregnant, pleads not guilty

A Malaysian man, 49, was charged in court in Alor Setar, Malaysia, on Nov. 16 for allegedly raping his eldest daughter, 18, for close to 12 years.
She discovered that she had become pregnant.
The man pleaded not guilty.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the man and his wife, a civil servant, have three daughters and two sons.
The victim, who is 18, is the eldest of the five children.
The father allegedly raped his daughter whenever she took a sick day from school and stayed home to recuperate.
It is suspected that the rape had been going on for close to 12 years, since the girl was six.
The latest incident was on Oct. 30, 2025.
The girl later discovered she had become pregnant after she went to see a doctor for discomfort in her abdomen.
The discovery of her pregnancy led to the uncovering of her father's suspected crime.
Kept to herself
The accused is a self-employed man who traded in second-hand goods for a living, Sin Chew Daily reported.
He spent most of his time at home looking after his children.
The 18-year-old girl reportedly had a quiet demanour and kept to herself, and would skip dining with the family and had meals on her own during the wee hours.
Sin Chew Daily reported that the father had been convicted of theft in 1995 and was found with pornography in his phone.
If convicted, the father could face between 10 to 30 years in prison and caned.
The man will be held in remand as the judge denied bail.
