Ukrainian crypto trader, 32, found dead in Lamborghini after S$23.3 billion market crash
The crash followed U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of 100 per cent tariffs on China.

A 32-year-old Ukrainian crypto investor, Konstantin Galich, was found dead in his Lamborghini in Kyiv on Oct. 11, following a crash in cryptocurrency on Oct. 10, FOX Business reported, citing the Kyiv police.
According to the Telegram channel of the Kyiv police, his body was found with a gunshot wound to his head.
A firearm registered to him was also found at the scene.

FOX Business further reported that the crash in cryptocurrency followed U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of 100 per cent tariffs on imports from China.
CNN reported that the announcement triggered a sell-off of US$18 billion (S$23.3 billion) in cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrency made major gains after Trump assumed office at the start of 2025, due to his change from dismissing bitcoin to addressing cyptocurrency fans at a conventions, launching his own meme coin and promising to establish a strategic cryptocurrency reserve.
Posted a statement about financial difficulties a day before his death
Kyiv police further noted that a day prior to his death, he had told his relatives he was "feeling depressed" due to financial difficulties and had also sent them a farewell message.
Galich had co-founded the Cryptology Key trading academy and was also a well-known figure in the Ukraininan and international crytocurrency community.
Investigations into the cause of his death are ongoing.
