GE2025 overseas votes counted, final tallies slightly affected

The overseas votes cast for the 2025 general election were counted and the final results for the various constituencies have been tallied.

The outcome?

Several GRCs and SMCs saw their final tallies altered and winning percentages slightly affected as a result.

Overseas voters largely voted in tandem with local voters.

Some constituencies experienced a slight increase in vote share for the incumbents (Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC, Sembawang GRC, Aljunied GRC, Sengkang GRC).

However, two constituencies saw either equal number of overseas votes cast for the ruling party and opposition (Bukit Panjang SMC), or more votes for the opposition (Sembawang West SMC).

Walkover constituency

According to the Elections Department Singapore (ELD), amongst the 18,389 Singaporeans who registered as overseas voters, 1,152 of them are from Marine Parade-Bradell Heights GRC, which had a walkover.
