Every Singaporean child aged 12 and below will receive S$500 LifeSG credits in 2025.

Parents can use these credits to defray household expenses such as groceries, utilities, and pharmacy items, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said during his 2025 Budget speech.

Education-related expenses of families with older children will also be supported via top-ups to the Edusave account or Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA).

Every Singaporean child aged 13 to 20 in 2025 will receive a one-off S$500 top-up to their Edusave account or PSEA.

S$500 LifeSG Credits

The credits will be accessible via the LifeSG application and can be spent at online and physical merchants which accept payments via PayNow or NETS.

The credits for children aged one to 12 in 2025 (those born between 2013 to 2024) will be disbursed in July 2025.

For children born in 2025, the credits will be disbursed in April 2026.

Edusave & PSEA Top-ups

The S$500 top-ups for Singaporeans aged 13 to 20 will be disbursed in July 2025.

For those aged 13 to 16 in 2025 (born between Jan. 1, 2009 to Dec. 31, 2012), they will receive the top-up in their Edusave account.

For those aged 17 to 20 in 2025 (born between Jan. 1, 2005 to Dec. 31, 2008), they will receive the top-up in their PSEA.

This can be used to pay for their approved education-related expenses.
