Budget 2025: Eligible S'porean households to receive up to S$760 in U-Save rebates
Offset utilities expenses.
Eligible Singaporean households will receive up to S$760 in U-Save rebates in financial year 2025 to help them cope with rising costs.
This was announced by Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong in his 2025 Budget speech.
Singaporean households living in HDB flats and whose household members do not own more than one property will receive a one-off Cost-of-Living U-Save rebate to offset their utilities expenses.
More than 950,000 Singaporean households will benefit from this rebate.
The one-off Cost-of-Living U-Save rebates will be disbursed in April 2025 and October 2025.
The total rebates that eligible households will receive this financial year will be double the amount of regular U-Save rebates, said PM Wong.
He added that these rebates would help cover about six months of utility expenses for those living in 1- and 2-room flats or three months of utility expenses for those living in 3- and 4-room flats.
