Budget 2025: S'poreans & PRs to get one-off S$100 ActiveSG credits top-up in June
Can book your badminton courts.
As part of the newly-launched SG60 package, the government will disburse S$100 in ActiveSG credits for all ActiveSG members.
This will help all ActiveSG members enjoy sports with their families and friends, said Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
In his Feb. 18 Budget speech, PM Wong launched the SG60 package "to recognise the contributions of all Singaporeans".
Sports for Singaporeans
The ActiveSG credits can be used for ActiveSG facilities and programmes, such as booking badminton courts and purchase gym passes.
They will be disbursed in June 2025.
All Singaporeans and PRs are eligible for ActiveSG, and can sign up for a free membership on the ActiveSG website.
New members will receive S$200 credits in total: S$100 from this top up, and S$100 from the existing new member incentive scheme implemented in 2014.
The new credits aim to encourage sports participation across different segments of society during SG60.
In addition to this, PM Wong added that the government is building new sport facilities in the heartlands, and upgrading existing facilities in Pasir Ris, Queenstown, and Hougang.
"Sport is another avenue for Singaporeans of all races, religions, and backgrounds to come together," he said.
