Budget 2025: S$150 million to be set aside for eligible enterprises to leverage AI

The Singapore government will set aside up to S$150 million for a new Enterprise Compute Initiative.
Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lawrence Wong announced this initiative during his 2025 Budget speech.
The initiative is on top of other initiatives, such as the Productivity Solutions Grant and Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Go Digital programme, which encourages enterprises to adopt off-the-shelf solutions like Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered analytics and digital marketing tools.
PM Wong noted that enterprises need AI solutions tailored to their needs and integrated into business processes and systems.
Under this initiative, eligible enterprises will be partnered with major cloud service providers to access AI tools and computing power, as well as consultancy services.
This will help enterprises leverage AI more effectively in their transformation journey, said PM Wong.
