While on a visit to Changi Airport, one young girl turned up in the iconic Singapore Airlines (SIA) uniform — the sarong kebaya — and had an adorable encounter with actual cabin crew members at Changi Airport.
Adorable "mini cabin crew"
TikTok user @charmmy3030 posted a video on Oct. 6 of her daughter dressed in the SIA sarong kebaya, titled "A day as a mini cabin crew".
In the video, the "mini cabin crew" member greeted and waved at her "colleagues" in the airport's transit area, while dragging around her own pink luggage.
One passing stewardess even beckoned at her to join them. In response, the girl's mum can be heard saying jokingly in the background, "Go work, go work!"
When another batch of cabin crew passed by, a uniformed captain also stopped to shake the girl's hand.
TikTokers commented on how cute and adorable she was.
"Give her a free air ticket for her effort," one user quipped.
Another user asked where the girl got her uniform, to which her mom replied that she had bought it from SIA's KrisShop.
The miniature sarong kebaya is available in medium, large, and extra large sizes on SIA's KrisShop website.
It's also on discount right now at S$73, or 9,125 miles.
Upcoming travel fair
Children can still get the chance to dress up as junior SIA cabin crew and pilots at the upcoming Time to Fly travel fair.
The fair will be held at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre’s halls 405 and 406 from Nov. 3 to Nov. 5.
More than 170,000 discounted SIA flight tickets and 200,000 Scoot flight tickets will also be available at the fair, as well as on SIA's and Scoot's websites.
