A piece of plywood flew off the top of a lorry that was travelling on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) heading to Tuas.
The incident happened on Oct. 17, at around 10:48am and it was captured by the dashcam of a car travelling behind the lorry.
The flying piece of plywood hit the car and dented one of its doors.
Plywood not secured on the roof
In a video posted by SG Road Vigilante on Facebook, the lorry was full of workers riding in the cargo area.
Suddenly, a brown piece of plywood flew off from the roof of the lorry.
It then hit a car and damaged it.
The plywood allegedly hit the car's side door and mirror. The door on the driver's side was also allegedly dented.
The video also showed multiple pieces of plywood on top of the lorry that did not appear to be secured down.
The workers apparently said that the plywood pieces were on the roof as there was no space in the back of the lorry.
