Former premier of the People's Republic of China, Li Keqiang, passed away at around midnight on Oct. 27, 2023, after suffering from a "sudden heart attack," reported state-owned media News.cn.
He was 68.
According to News.cn, Li was "resting" in Shanghai recently.
In March 2023, Li stepped down as Chinese premier, a role he assumed ten years ago in 2013.
