YG Entertainment is in the midst of confirming the authenticity of reports of BIGBANG's G-Dragon, also known as Kwon Jiyong, being involved in drug investigations.
Korean news outlet News1 reported on Oct. 25 that he was booked on charges of violating drug control laws.
Earlier this month, "Parasite" actor Lee Sun Kyun was reported to be investigated for drug-related charges.
However, Yonhap has reported that Kwon and Lee's cases are unrelated.
Korean news outlet iMBC reported that YG is "not aware" of any investigation, and is in the midst of confirming if the reports are true.
