Sunday (Sep. 17) marks the end of Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Grand Prix 2023.
According to Singapore GP, the Marina Bay Street Circuit recorded 264,108 attendees over the race weekend from Sep. 15 to 17.
With the closure of The Float at Marina Bay, this year's attendance is smaller than 2022's record capacity.
All tickets at the six grandstands and the additional walkabout tickets were sold out due to "very strong demand".
The turnout also exceeded the organisers' expected attendance of 250,000 for 2023.
The strong demand is expected to continue as the Super Early Bird tickets for next year's race have also sold out having gone on sale only 72 hours ago, Singapore GP said.
