Woman, 28, allegedly throws wooden side table from Choa Chu Kang HDB unit, to be charged for rash act

If convicted, the woman could be jailed for up to six months or fined up to S$2,500, or both.

A 28-year-old woman is to be charged in court on Apr. 20 after she allegedly threw a wooden side table from her flat in Choa Chu Kang.

The Singapore Police Force made public the incident and the woman's suspected involvement in the case of rash act.

If convicted, the woman could be jailed for up to six months or fined up to S$2,500, or both.

The police said they received a call for assistance at Block 818A Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1 at around 10:45am on Apr. 18.

Through follow-up investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established that the woman had allegedly thrown a wooden side table down from her residential unit.

The police reiterated that they have zero tolerance for acts that endanger the lives or safety of others.

The police will not hesitate to take action against those who blatantly disregard the law, they added.
