This Saturday (Apr. 22), Hari Raya Puasa, is a day of joyous celebration for our Muslim friends in Singapore after a month of fasting.
And it looks like one of Singapore's most iconic buildings will be joining in the celebrations too.
The Singapore Sports Hub announced on Facebook that from 7:30pm to 10pm on Saturday, the roof of the National Stadium will feature a themed light display as part of the Hari Raya celebrations.
"Watch the story unfold"
While the details in the post are sparse, the light display seems to be a medium through which a story will be told.
For example, it will depict Singapore's evolution from a collection of villages to a metropolis.
The display will conclude with "portraits of Malay/Muslim communities which have remained steadfast" said the Sports Hub.

The organiser concluded the post by encouraging the public to "catch the beautiful display and watch the story unfold with us" this Saturday evening.
More Hari Raya celebrations at National Stadium from Apr. 29 - May 1
The Hari Raya celebrations at the National Stadium this year aren't limited to that one evening, either.
From Apr. 29 to May 1, the public can join in for a weekend of celebrations at the Stadium, and enjoy cultural performances, family-friendly activities, live music and more.

The theme of the celebration is "Relive the Kampung Spirit", and it fittingly features a sepak takraw-themed challenge, traditional Malay dances and silat performances.
There will also be prizes for the "Best Dressed Family" who turn up in their best baju kurung.
These celebrations will be held at the Stadium Roar, just outside the National Stadium, from 11am-9pm on those three days.
