JCube will cease operations in August 2023 to make way for a 40-storey residential development.
Spearheaded by CapitaLand Development, the residential development is targeted for completion in 2027.
The name of the upcoming development is — wait for it — J'Den.

Launching later in 2023
In response to Mothership's queries, a spokesperson for CapitaLand Development confirmed the project's name and added that it is targeted to launch in the second half of 2023.
They also said that the official website is "currently under development".
"Ahead of the launch, we note that some property agents have initiated marketing efforts to generate interest and collect leads on their own accord. We are currently working with our partners to ensure accuracy in the marketing materials."
Commercial space
According to CapitaLand Development, the new site will have commercial space on the first and second storeys of the building.
It will be directly connected to Jurong East MRT interchange, Westgate and IMM via a covered pedestrian network.
