While many parents struggle to connect with their kids, one skateboarder seems to have mastered the art of parenting.
Father-child bonding
In a TikTok video uploaded on Apr. 7, the young father was captured skateboarding with his toddler cradled in his arms.

The video was taken at the newly opened SkatePark in Lakeside Garden.
Smiling widely, the man glided effortlessly across the park's Mini Bowl Pod.

This particular skate pod is 0.9m to 1.5m deep with shallow bowls meant for intermediate or experienced skaters to practice drop-ins.
Safety concerns
People generally thought the dad to be a cool dude.

Some, however, thought that he was putting his kid in danger.
They pointed out that there was always a possibility of freak accidents occurring, no matter how skilled one may be.

Some called him "irresponsible" and remarked that he was one fall away from a divorce.
While others thought he should have put on safety equipment for the kid as a precaution.

To be fair, the skate park does display rules meant to ensure the safety of its users. One condition states that "safety equipment are to be used at all times."
Other users rallied to defend the dad.
One observed that he looked skilful and was not doing any "fancy moves", while another said he was a trained professional who knew what he was doing.
