Here are some activities to pique your interest even more:
At Funan, home and decor brand Chokmah will be showcasing its “Broken Made Whole” designs, which are made of broken pieces from failed experiments or past season collections that would normally be thrown away.
The collection is inspired by its founder's own journey in life, where she was left broken many times but managed to rise up again with the help of her loved ones.
If you are keen to craft your very own broken-made-whole coaster, you can sign up for Chokmah’s workshop here.
The workshop will last for approximately 1.5 hours, and each session will cost S$55 per pax.
If you have old devices that you hope to declutter, such as phones, laptops or power banks, you can bring them to myhalo at Bugis Junction, where you will be rewarded with a S$30 voucher.
Terms and conditions apply.
The homegrown sustainability tech platform is also helping you take care of your devices by offering free cleaning and nano-coating services, powered by Speco self-cleaning technology.
After the makeover, your electronic devices will become more resistant to wear and corrosion, thereby extending their lifespan and reducing your e-waste output.
Simply pop by the brand’s booth at the Malay Street Atrium and participate in a few fun e-waste interactive activities to redeem the services.
Separately, fashion brand REFASH will be hosting a repurposing and upcycling workshop in collaboration with Alt.native, which will give a second life to your pre-loved clothing.
There will be four sessions in total, which will be held respectively on Apr. 15, 16, 29, and 30.
Finally, you can also join the weekly-themed activities organised by various brands at Plaza Singapura, including DMK, Urban Revivo, and MUJI.
MUJI, for example, is running a fabric upcycling workshop through which you can create your own, unique coaster with old clothes and a simple weaving tool made from corrugated cardboard.
Two sessions will be held respectively on Apr. 14 and 15 from 3pm to 5pm, and a registration fee of S$10 per pax will apply.
The complete programme run-ups can be found here.
