Premier League fans in Singapore, take note: Nine English football matches can be watched for free over the April 1 and 2, 2023 weekend.
Local telco StarHub announced that it will be offering free Premier League content for those who sign up for complimentary access to its Premier+ streaming platform before the first Saturday and Sunday of April 2023.
There will be a limited number of complimentary passes, but the exact number is not revealed.
Currently, the deal is on a “first-come, first-served basis”.
At this point in the season, stakes are high.
The big matches taking place over the weekend include:
- Manchester City and Liverpool at 7:30pm in Singapore on April 1
- Newcastle United and Manchester United at 11:30pm on April 2
Newcastle United and Manchester United are in the race for a top-four finish and Champions League qualification next season.
How to sign up
Those who are interested can sign up for free Premier League access here from Friday, March 24.
After signing up, customers will receive their personal access codes through email for logging into StarHub TV+ service on Android smart TVs, web browsers, or mobile devices.
StarHub's acquisition of broadcast rights for the Premier League for the next six years broke a 12-year streak by telco Singtel that began in 2010.
