A DJ at a night club in Johor Bahru, Malaysia supposedly experienced a windfall after she was presented garlands amounting to RM500,000 (S$150,645).
The practice of presenting garlands as cash gifts for hostesses from the establishment's clientele is colloquially known as "hanging flower".
Photos of the woman's windfall were put up on Facebook on March 8.
The post's caption said she was given two separate garlands, one RM200,000 (S$60,258) garland and another RM300,000 (S$90,387) garland.
While many online claimed the woman was a hostess, it has since emerged that she is a DJ.
The night club has since been identified as Route 66 in JB.
The Facebook post's caption also said RM500,000 was 15 years' worth of salary for the average person.

Is it real?
While many commenters expressed shock at the amount of money that changed hands in one night, quite a number of other commenters claimed such ostentatious displays of wealth are common practice.
However, a number of commenters also claimed the photos were taken as part of marketing material and a shoot for the club.
The appearance of close-up photos that were taken on stage at the club, which have since been circulated online -- despite the presence of the "No Photography" sign just behind the woman -- suggested the shoot was commissioned to take place.
But the claims that the gifting was staged to generate hype appears to have been countered by a number of other videos that show the event taking place before a live audience with confetti thrown in for greater effect.
The DJ also put up a message in Thai on her Facebook page seemingly addressing the accusations that the event was staged.
