If you are still thinking about heading to Johor Bahru this weekend, here's some good news for you.
The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said the immigration clearance at all checkpoints has resumed, except the arrival automated motorcycle lanes at Tuas Checkpoint.
Investigations into the root cause of the system issue are still ongoing.
The system issue plagued various checkpoints including Changi Airport terminals, Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints, since late morning 11am on Friday, March 31.
Long queues formed at these checkpoints as people heading out of Singapore had to get immigration clearance manually.
ICA also swiftly deployed off-duty officers to provide support to affected travellers.
At Changi Airport, the airport staff helped manage queue and provided drinks and biscuits to affected travellers.
Despite given priority to passengers with imminent departures, "a small number of passengers" missed their flights, the Changi Airport Group updated.
They will be assisting these passengers with rebooking and making other arrangements.
