The 23-second clip was devoid of context as the fight already appeared to be underway when the video was shot.

Both men appeared to be evenly matched despite one of them being barefooted.

What the video showed

The clip opened with the barefooted man in white swinging a punch at the man in black, who dodged it and attempted to push the punching arm away.

The man in white followed up with another punch as the other man took a defensive position.

The man in black then dodged another punch thrown at him and threw a few fists of his own -- all the while showing good head movement.

At one point, he appeared to land a blow on the barefooted man's face who briefly pulled back with both of his fists still raised.

The man in while then grabbed the man in black but fell to the ground when his opponent managed to wrest free.

All this while a woman in a white top could be seen going forward towards the two men, in an attempt to intervene without much payoff.

After the barefooted man got up, a third person in blue attempted to intervene between him and the man in black.

The video then ended with the two fighting men gesturing at one another while the man in blue attempted to stand between both of them.

Like "ONE Champion(ship)"

A man and a woman could be heard off-camera commenting on the fight throughout the video.

The woman was heard asking why the two men were fighting and why no one appeared to have called the police.

Meanwhile, a man's voice said, "Wah seh, ONE Champion(ship)... Who's the winner?"

Several commenters on the Instagram post also applauded the fight for solely being between the two men.

Those convicted of voluntarily causing hurt can be jailed for up to two years or fined up to S$5,000, or punished with both.
