On Aug. 7, two groups of tourists at Beijing Zoo broke out in a huge fight.

A video of the fight among humans was uploaded to Weibo, where it went viral.

A woman carrying a child could be seen kicking another woman on the ground, who then retaliated with kicks of her own. The woman with the child later grabbed the other woman by her hair.

Several others could be seen trying to hold them back.

Meanwhile, two other men in a group behind them were seen tussling on the ground.

One of the men, dressed in the pastel shirt, casually walks over to the group involving the women and gives one of them a forceful kick.

You can see a snippet of the fight in a 57s video uploaded to Twitter:

It's unclear what the reason for the fight was, but it was believed to have started out as a quarrel that soon turned physical.

The park also released a statement on Weibo addressing the incident. It stated that this was the first time that the animals had witnessed such a fight.

As the event had "left such a deep impression", the animals also started fighting later that day, requiring zookeepers to step in as it got "out of control".

The zookeepers also had to let the animals know that fighting is "bad, very bad."
