53 new locally transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 15 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 54 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on August 10.

This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 65,890.

53 of the new cases of locally transmitted.

Of these, 31 are linked to previous cases, and have already been placed on quarantine. Seven are linked to previous cases and were detected through surveillance.

15 are currently unlinked.

There is one imported case who was detected and isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

MOH will provide more updates tonight.
