A kitten somehow managed to get itself in the middle of a busy main road, but was thankfully saved by sharp-eyed drivers who were paying attention while driving.
The kitten's rescue was captured in dashcam footage uploaded to Facebook on Aug. 15.
According to captions on the video, the kitten had "fallen off from a car bumper", and may have been clinging to the underside of a car prior to letting go when the car stopped at the traffic lights.
Lorry, cars, drive past cautiously
The first driver to spot the kitten jam-braked, to stop their vehicle abruptly.

The driver then drove slowly past the kitten so as to avoid running it over.
Two cars behind it did the same.

Second lorry stops so kitten can be picked up
Then, a second lorry stops on the road as road users get out of their vehicles to try and catch the kitten and bring it to safety.
Unaware of the humans' best intentions, the kitten dashes under the lorry.

It got picked up eventually, however.
