The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 53 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Sunday (Aug. 15).
This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore to 66,172.
50 locally transmitted cases
There are 50 new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infection.
Of these cases, there are 30 linked cases. These have already been placed on quarantine.
Another six linked cases were detected through surveillance.
14 are currently unlinked.
Three imported cases
In addition, there are three imported cases that were detected and isolated upon arrival in Singapore.
Further updates will be shared by MOH tonight.
