A cat has recently found itself in a bit of trouble while on one of its adventures.
The curious kitty had to be rescued after it was stranded on a 3m-high fence at Bukit Batok.

In an Instagram post, SPCA Singapore said that their Animal Rescue Officers rushed down after they got a call about the cat.
The cat was "secured safe and sound in minutes" as officers used a tool to bring it down to safety.

They also made sure that the cat had no injuries, before releasing it back to its home in the community.

If you're wondering why cats often get stuck in trees or other high places, it's because cat claws make it easy for them to propel themselves upwards.
However, getting down is actually way more difficult than climbing up.
Search and rescue trainer Susan Bulanda was quoted saying that cats may have trouble coordinating their feet when they try to back down, adding that most cats tend to jump from higher places rather climb down. When it comes to trees, however, it's likely too high to jump down from sometimes, causing them to get stuck.
