Tai Seng food hall converts to bistro bar at night serving alcoholic punch in hotpot, maki rolls & more

A new food hall and bistro bar, B.E.D, has recently opened at Tai Seng.

The space operates as a food hall by day and a neon-themed bistro bar by night.

Food hall by day

Before 6pm, B.E.D, which means bistro, entertainment and dining, operates as a food hall offering a range of food.

Here are some of the food options available in the day.

Bistro bar by night

After 6pm, the place converts to a bistro bar, offering a menu of its own including alcoholic beverages, mains, bar bites, desserts and more.

Alcoholic beverages

Apart from the usual alcohol beer, spirits and soju, one of the more interesting beverage offerings on the menu is the Strong B.E.D Punch (S$48), an alcoholic beverage served in a "fish-head steamboat" pot.

Diners also have the option to add a bottle of Soju for S$15.

A non-alcoholic version called the Soft B.E.D Punch (S$38) is also available.

Mains and bar bites

If you're feeling peckish, you can opt for main dishes like Sapporo Black Garlic Truffle Ramen (S$17), Garlic Fried Rice with Salted Fish (S$12) and Salmon Mentai Donburi (S$16).

The bistro bar also offers a variety of maki rolls such as Salmon Rollin' in B.E.D Maki (S$14) and Unagi Mermaid Maki (S$15).

Customers can also order bar bites like Cajun Fries (S$12), Har Cheong Kai (S$12.80) and B.E.D Fully Loaded Fries (S$14).

Desserts

The bistro bar also offers a range of desserts such as a Rubber Duckie ($13.90) with lemongrass 'shampoo', which comprises honey Thai mango, cream jelly, sago and sorbet.
